MEMORIALS.
Instead of spending money on monuments and such like memorials, why not commemorate the memory of a relative or friend by naming a Bed in the Home-or a Pension in connection with the BRITISH HOME and Hospital FOR INCURABLES. This would not only be a lasting tribute to the dear friend, but would have the additional merit of providing a Home or Pension to some poor afflicted sufferer of the Middle Class for life.
A donation of £1,000 names a Memorial Bed in the Home, and £500 a Memorial Pension of £20, giving the donor the right to nominate any candidate thereto during his or her lifetime.
